Woodland R-IV School District Volunteer
Reports to: Designated Site Principal based on Volunteer duties

- Clearance on background check that is satisfactory to the Administration.
- Ability to supervise and evaluate students.
- Possess positive character traits that are student-centered.
- Possess ability to interact and communicate effectively with others.
Essential Functions
- Ability to supervise students and maintain a safe instructional environment both on and off premises (i.e. traveling for away games, approved field trips, etc.)
- While students are under the Volunteer's supervision, remain present with students at all times, unless arrangements have been made for another staff member to cover the Volunteer's Supervisory duties.
- Maintain a high level of excellence of execution when completing assigned duties.

Physical Demands
- May require the ability to stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time or for an entire volunteer shift.
- May be asked to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 25 pounds without assistance.
- May require the ability to grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of varying size and weight, requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination.
- May be asked to reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
- Must also be able to hear a conversation in a noisy environment.
Attendance
Consistent and regular attendance is an essential function of this position.

Evaluation of Performance
The evaluation of performance will be conducted by the assigned Site Principal, at which time, the continuation of the relationship between the Volunteer and the Woodland R-IV School District will be considered.
